I am so sorry to hear about Bridget, I worked with her for many years at the hospital in Lincolnton. She taught me when I started there in 2002.  We heard so much about Parker in those days also.  I really thought a lot of her.  My deepest sympathy.

My heart breaks for all that loved “Mrs McKinney” as I knew her for the last 47 years.   Always loved her accent and watching the ash of her cigarette get longer and longer until she would flick it in the ash tray.  So many memories as I tooled around with her daughter Monica.  I remember Hurricane David we had to go up to the store right in the middle of it in her big white heavy station wagon, it was moving side to side.  She let me park my Honda in the garage because we thought it might blow away.  

My thoughts and prayers are with Monica, 
Johnny & Kenny as well as all her family.  We are so sorry for your great loss.

Deepest love to Bridget (Bridie's) family. She was a special woman, my aunt, and the only relative on my mother's side that we knew as children. She loved and treated us as her own. Despite obstacles in her life she was fearlessly independent and kind. I will always love her and remember fondly her witty sense of humor, endearing honesty and love for her family.
