Mr. Darryl Eugene Shook

Darryl was born January 22nd, 1992 in Catawba County to Darryl Shook of Claremont and Genia Yoder Baker of Rutherford College.

Darryl was a 2010 graduate of Bandy’s High School and was an avid sports enthusiast.

Darryl was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Frances Hopper Yoder. .

Surviving are his parents; Darryl Shook of Claremont, Genia Yoder Baker and step-father Ronnie of the home, a brother, Dylan Shook of the home, step-sister Jamie Baker of Hickory, maternal grandfather, Carroll “Gene” Yoder of Conover, paternal grandparents, Tom and Ann Shook of Conover, niece and nephew Micah and Maya Crisco and numerous family that loved him.

Services will be held at 11 :00 A.M. on Tuesday June 14th, 2011 at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ed Godshall officiating. .

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14th 2011 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
