She was born in Catawba County on December 2, 1952, to the late Earl and Vera Kirby Michael.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Michael.
She was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church and she worked 30 years at Shuford Mills.
She is survived by her husband Steve Duncan of the home; her daughter Carolyn Russ of Granite Falls; her son Eric Parsons of Granite Falls; granddaughter Delaney Parsons of Granite Falls; grandsons Nathaniel Lambert of Hudson and Dallas Greene of Granite Falls; sister Karen Morgan and a brother Dennis Michael both of Granite Falls.
The family will receive friends, Friday, February 4, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Temple Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Temple Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Correll officiating.
Burial will follow in church cemetery.
