Donnis Virginia Mauney Sills, 81, passed away July 20, 2022 at Terra Bella Assisted Living in Newton. Born November 27, 1940 in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Yates Mauney and Virginia Louise Heafner Mauney. A member of St. Luke's Methodist Church, she was a housewife.

Donnis is survived by her sons, Karty Sills and wife Angie of Edgewater, FL, Scott Sills and wife Angelia Sills of Hickory and Cameron Sills and wife Jennifer Sills of Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, Chloe, Emma Louise, Mason, Sydney, Cameron, Denver, Taylor, Timothy and Jenna Rose.

A Graveside Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory.

Memorials may be given to Sipe’s Orchard Home, 4431 County Home Road, Conover, NC 28613
