

Dwight was born August 7, 1933 in Alexander Co. to the late Carl W. and Mary Lou Hall Bolick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph, Willard, Luther, Lester and Bruce Bolick.
He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and retired from Vanguard Furniture. He was a former manager of B & L Gas & Oil on Springs Rd.
Surviving is his wife, Shirley Weaver Bolick, of the home; sons, Michael Dwight Bolick of Taylorsville, Timothy Dale Bolick of Hickory and Steven Todd Bolick of Conover; daughter, Deborah Lynn Lowery and husband, Steve Lowery, Jr., of Conover; eight grandchildren; seven great -grandchildren; sister, Mae Teague of Bethlehem; brothers, Glenn Bolick and wife, Patsy, of Bethlehem and Larry Bolick and wife, Linda, of Bethlehem.
Services will be Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 3:00 P. M. at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church with the Reverend Stephen T. Johnson officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:30 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
