He was born June 9, 1945 in Johnson County, TN to the late Garmon Gentry and Rosalee Rouse Gentry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Brenda Gentry, sons, Eddie and Wayne Gentry; daughters, Robin Shelton and Husband Michael, and Linda Morgan; grandchildren, Vanessa Shelton, Courtney, Ashley and Samantha Gentry, and Clint Spinks; great grandchild, Jax Scronce; 3 brothers and 1 sister; several nieces and nephews; special nephew, Gregory Rouse; and a very special friend, Dan Fleming.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2pm in the Chapel with Pastor Tim Gouge officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations.
