Hickory Elizabeth Ann Oaks, age 75 of Hickory, left this life on Friday, July 1, 2016. She was born on December 15, 1940, in Cleveland County, North Carolina to Wilson and Carrie Randolph and lived in Catawba County since 1960. Elizabeth loved flowers, sewing and doing all types of crafts. She is survived by her ex-husband, Charles Oaks of Hickory; son, Randy Oaks and wife Cheri of Hickory; brother, Roger Randolph of Boiling Springs; sisters, Marie Sanders of Lenoir, Maxine Lail of Granite Falls and Brenda Philbeck of Boiling Springs; granddaughter, Carrie Ellen Kendall and great grandchildren, Madison Mae Kendall and Jada Rae Kendall. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilson Randolph, Jr., Nathaniel Randolph, Joe Randolph and Perry Randolph; sisters Mildred Willis, Ellen Ollis and great granddaughter Rebecca Kendall. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday July 5, 2016, at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory with Pastor Greg Berkey officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:45 pm on Tuesday at Catawba Funeral Home.
