Hickory – Fletcher Long Lail, Sr, 91 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2019 at his home.
Born on December 14, 1928 in Burke County, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Florence Giles Lail.
Preceded in death by a son, Fletcher Long Lail, Jr. and a daughter Pamela Ann Lail.
Survivors include, 3 daughters, Beth Lail, Kim Nanney and Kelly Wright and husband David; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on December 20, 2019 at 12:00 pm officiated by Pastor Ron Burgett.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Catawba County Humane Society.
