Fredrick Silas Paul

Fredrick Silas Paul, 62, of Hickory, passed away June 19, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born October 16, 1950 in Pakistan, he was the son of the late Godfrey and Dorcus Paul. Fredrick was a member of Resurrection International Church and was retired from Alcatel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Thakurdas.

Fredrick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rukhsana Roshankhan Paul; sons, Simon Paul and Shawn Paul, both of Hickory; daughter, Meena Paul and husband Alex Cordoba both of Hickory; brothers, Joel Paul of Virginia, Archie Paul of Hickory, Sidney Paul of Hickory, Donald Paul of Virginia, Ivan Paul of Virginia, Stanley Paul of Hickory; sister, Julie Tinsten of England; and grandchildren, Nisha Paul, Zion Cordoba, and Anjali Cordoba of Hickory.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. John Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., prior to the service at the church.
