Gail Walker Watson

Gail Walker Watson, 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Spartanburg, SC at Spartanburg Regional. She was born on June 18, 1946 to the late Thomas Bickett and Princess Pearl Watts Walker in Catawba County. Gail was a retired Nurse who dedicated many years of service in the medical field.

Along with her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas W. Walker and sister, Linda Walker Mills. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ted Watson of the home; son, Jason Watson and wife Tanya of Rutherfordton; brother, Wilmer S. Walker and wife Tamara of Conover. Gail was a mother to a number of her nieces and nephews; Jonathan Walker, Daniel Walker, Lydia Robinson, Michael Robinson, Tommy Walker Jr., Tracy Walker, Todd Walker, Amanda Mills Davis, Kevin Mills, Justin Holman, Kayla Holman, Ashley Mills, Sydney Walker, Jaxson Walker, Sadie Walker, Karsten Camby, Cheyenne Walker, Brooke, Brandi, Gavin Arnold. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Conley Matlock will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
