He was born on January 13th, 1958, to the late Harold Edwin Huffman and Dolly Mace Huffman in Catawba County. He was a member of Blairs Fork Baptist Church, and he worked in the maintenance department of Carving Craft Furniture.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Huffman, and a brother William Arthur Huffman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his stepdaughter Tonya Suzanne Clark of Lenoir, stepsons; James Clark (Maria) of Collettsville and Shaun Clark (Peggy) of Lenoir, brothers; Tony Huffman of Hickory and George Huffman (Ruby) of Newton.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 11th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45pm-1:45pm at the funeral home. Reverend Ronnie Miller will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
