Jean (Boyce) Bollinger

She was born on July 4th, 1945, to the late Thornton Boyce and Gladys Wommack Boyce in Suffolk Virginia. During her life she was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and retired from Plastic Packaging as a Customer Service Representative.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Bollinger, as well as 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Laurie Schon (Bob) of Hickory, her sons Louis Phelps (Janet) of Durham, and Scott Phelps of Hickory, stepson Michael Bollinger of Hickory, and stepdaughter Cheryl Hedrick of Hickory. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a brother, Ray Boyce (Helen) of Woodstock Georgia.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 4th at 12:00pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Hooks officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:45am-11:45am at the church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.
