Born August 18, 1982 in Catawba County, he was the son of Jennifer Kay Moretz.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Dennis Moretz; sister, Amanda Kristin Setzer and husband, Julian; brother, Jordan Bryant Moretz and wife, Brittany; a number of aunts and uncles, including Darrell Brown, with whom he made his home.
A private service may be held at a later date.
