Our world is at a loss but heaven has gained a great man. Kong was my supervisor he taught an supported me on many occasions. I only regret that I did not have a chance to be his friend longer. He will be missed here on earth but i will reunite with him in heaven eventually.

Kong was the nicest person one would ever want to meet. If you needed anything special like (toys for your kid) Kong would find them as he did for my kids. He will surely be missed  by family and friends and my thoughts for his family is to find comfort in the days to come. RIP my friend

SO sorry to hear this!  I just heard today (2-2-26).  I knew Kong as the DMV Supervisor in the Morganton Office.  I am still in shock over finding out he passed on the 26th.  Prayers to the family-

I had the pleasure of working with Kong at the DMV. I was there the day he got promoted to Senior and was so happy for him. From colleague to my boss. And he took pride in his job and to be a great Senior. He would go out of his way to help you any way he could. 
He loved his wife and kids, we talked often about our kids. I am sure going to miss him bunches, the Morganton DMV will never be the same. Keeping your sweet family in my prayers.

Kong was a very kind man.  He was always willing to help his fellow workers.  He loved his family dearly.  We often had conversations about our children and I could tell how much he loved them.   He  always made me laugh and I enjoyed our early morning conversations.   He will be deeply missed.

Kong was a very awesome guy a great friend a leader and a good supervisor I have known Kong since high school he was the same person day after day no matter what the days had in store for him he always was smiling and doing his best to make his piers an the people around him laugh. I got the opportunity to work for him in 2018 at the Morganton DMV  where he taught me so much while under his supervision till 2024 during that short time with him he helped a lot and gave me the opportunity to learn how to become a leader as he was within the DMV. I could go on and on about how great of a person he was so caring we would talk about everything. Kong you are missed and loved by many may your blessings shower upon us thanks for everything.

Kong was a great man and a fantastic boss, I will miss him dearly. He loved his family and talked about them with me regularly. You could tell he really cared about everyone and did everything he could to help them. It was a pleasure to work with him everyday and he taught me a lot. I pray for his family and friends in this time.

As were many, I was shocked to learn of Kong's passing. We worked together quite a few times in my years atd DMV and he was always so kind, pleasant and easy to work with. Asking God to send His angels to be with his family, friends and colleagues.

Kong was a great coworker, he was always willing to go above and beyond to help others.  I appreciated his guidance and knowledge on a regular basis, along with his natural smile that came along with it.

Uncle Kong, 

You are so loved and will be missed dearly. Thank you for always being a solid rock in our childhood and always there to talk to in times of need. I pray you watch over us all and give our mom and grandma a big hug in heaven for us all here as we are mourning your loss. You have always been a delight to our little community of Morganton and you will dearly be missed by all your peers that surrounded you throughout town. You have always shown me to always have strength and love for family though thick and thin and for that I will always be grateful for your guidance. I love you forever Uncle Kong, sending warm hugs until we meet again.

Kongleng was a great co-worker, a resource, and someone that you could see cared about others. I only worked along side Hang for a few months, but he was always an email away should I had needed.  I'll miss his giant smile anytime we greeted each other. He will be missed greatly.

I’ve worked under Kong for the past year and a half.  In that time he has taught me so much about both my career,  caring for and taking care of others. Kong was a great coworker and an even better friend. He is and will be greatly missed.
