CONOVER – Lois South Saine, 65 of Conover passed away on February 7, 2026.
Born on April 28, 1960 in Bertie County, NC, she was the daughter of Ruby Asbell South and the late Roy South. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, mother and her special friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Saine.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother and best friend, Ruby Asbell South; son, Stephen Saine and wife Amy; grandchildren, Ila Saine, Kase Saine; siblings, Gloria South, Tammy Whitson and husband Keith, Andy South; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Jimmy Church officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 PM – 1 PM at the funeral home.
