Ma Xiong

Claremont – Ma Xiong, 92 of Claremont went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 5, 1929 in Laos, she was the daughter of the late Xai Xue Xiong and Chia Yang.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Yong Yang Vang and a son, Zarpia Vang.

Ma is survived by Mai Houa Yang, Chao Vang, Fong Vang, Mai Yao Vang, Mee Lee, Vang Vang, Kou Vang and Ana Moua.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Friday, September 10th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, September 11th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm with Pastor Ntxoovby Khang officiating. The burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park on Saturday, September 11th.
