Malcolm Dow Lynn Sr.

Malcolm Dow Lynn, Sr., 99, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Trinity Ridge (Lutheran Home-Hickory) after a period of declining health.Born September 6, 1914 in Catawba Co. to the late Adolphus T. Lynn and Daisy Whitener Lynn. Also preceded in death were three brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter, Anna L. Bethea.He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and retired from Royal Crown Bottling Co.Surviving are his wife of 74 years, Sally Dietz Lynn; daughters, Barbara L. Bethea, Janice L. Benson(Jerry); son, Malcolm Dow Lynn,Jr. (Kay); five grandchildren, Charles J. Keever, Lester Lee Bethea, III, Kimberly K. Eckenrod, Malcolm D. Lynn, III and Audrea Lynn Brown; eight great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.Services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 2:00 p. M. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Father Alex Viola, Pastor John Duncan and Pastor Rosa Erickson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 – 1:45 P.
