MARGIT HILL HICKORY – Margit Hill, 58, of Hickory passed away on July 7, 2014 at her residence. Born in October 30, 1955 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margot Oder. Margit was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mick Hill. Survivors include her children, Kristina Badillo and husband Miguel of Hickory, Doug Hill of Hickory; grandchildren, Anthony Badillo, Thomas Hill; siblings, Thomas Oder of PA, George Oder and wife Kim of Hickory, Mary Carroll and husband Matt of GA, James Oder and wife Rosialee of Granite Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.
