Marshall "Tack" Harold Nail

Marshall was born November 20, 1930 in Caldwell Co. to the late Charlie James and Lelia Rich Nail.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister Francis Baker.

Marshall was of the Baptist faith, a charter member of Propst Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and retired from Enterprise Car Rental.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Seagle Nail of the home, one daughter, Shirley Dianne Nail of Hickory, two sons, Barnie lee Nail and wife Mariko of Sumter, SC, Charles Gerald Nail and wife, Wanda of Goldsboro, NC, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter, one sister, Lucille Baker and husband Lester of Lenoir, a special nephew Michael Weaver and his wife Stacy and their three children of Dallas, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 8th 2012, at 3:00 PM at Sardis Lutheran Church cemetery with the Reverend Anna Merritt officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 8th2012 from 1:45 – 2:45 PM at Sardis Lutheran Church.
