Mary Elizabeth Danver

Mary Elizabeth Greiner Danver, 79 of Irmo, SC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on March 15th, 1946, in Butler County, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late Andrew Burtt Greiner, Jr and Mary Dean Greiner. Mary was a letter carrier for the USPS for over 30 years.

She loved the outdoors, tending to her flowers and watching hummingbirds and butterflies. She was loved by her family and will be tremendously missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Foster Danver; her siblings, Eleanore L. McDermott, Andrew B. Greiner, III, Alfred “Dino” Greiner, William A. Greiner, and Launa Greiner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Brigett-Denee` Brown and husband, Scott, Beth Strickland and husband, Jay, and Patti Lucas; her grandchildren, Corey, David and Alex Brown, Megan Sullivan, Keri McDermott, and Casey Pinheiro and husband, Jeff; her great grandchildren, Frankie Amestoy and Dublin Cornwell, Madison Kueneman, Carson Pinheiro, Ella Pinheiro; her great-great grandchildren, Vaeda Kueneman, and Skyler Kueneman.

A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Monday, January 19th, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association in Mary’s name.
