Melva Jean Bowman, 72 of Connelly Springs, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17th, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on June 24th, 1953, in Catawba County, NC, Melva was the daughter of the late Roy Alvin and Mabel Jarvis Bowman. Jean was a person who loved everyone. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her cousin, Arlene Hall.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park following the service.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
