Michael Patrick Toomey

Born May 29, 1954, in Philadelphia County, he was the son of the late Cornelius Joseph Toomey and Sybilla Charlotte Becker.

Pop was a family man and his family was the center of his life. Michael was outgoing and was loved by the neighborhood children. They all called him Pop and loved to hang out and play at the Toomey house. When he wanted to relax and recharge, he would grab his fishing tackle and head for some water.

He is survived by sons, Michael P Toomey Jr. and wife Tina of Pennsville NJ, Timothy T. Toomey Sr. of Pennsville NJ; daughter, Heather L Partin and husband Philip of Bethlehem, NC; brother, Daniel Toomey Sr. of Bethlehem NC; sisters, Lillian “Squeaky” Dowdy of Wenonah NJ, Mary Gall and husband Barry of West Deptford NJ, Beatrice “Bea” Dickinson of Carneys Point NJ; grandchildren, Michael P Toomey III of Pennsville NJ, Gabriel M Edsel of Taylorsville NC, Robert R Connolly Jr of Taylorsville,NC, Dymone J Toomey of Pennsville NJ, Timothy T Toomey Jr of Pennsgrove NJ, Zachary E Toomey of Pennsville NJ, Madison M Toomey of Pennsville NJ; great-grandchildren, Michael P Toomey IV of Pennsville NJ, David W Biddle Jr of Pennsville NJ, Joshua R Edsel of Taylorsville NC, Grayson A Biddle of Pennsville NJ, Jacob M Edsel of Taylorsville NC, first great granddaughter of Pennsville NJ on the way.
