Born in Burke County, on May 7, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Bynum and Rhoney Bell Chapman Lail.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Bobby Brittain; a sister Lucy Brittain and brothers Charlie Lail and Russell Lail.
Minnie was a member of Abee’s Chapel Baptist Church and she was retired from Western Carolina Center as a certified LPN.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry Brittain of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandson Ethan Sebring of Wilmington, and her sisters Carrie Buff of Connelly Springs and Edna Brittain and husband Dan of Scottsdale, AZ.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Buddy Sizemore officiating.
Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
