Nancy Belle Hill Howlett

Nancy Belle Hill Howlett , 67, passed away November 21, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born September 5, 1945 in Scotland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lester Douglas Hill and Opal Jane Venable Hill. Nancy was retired from Huffman Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Douglas Howlett; brothers, Billy Hill and Michael Ray Hill; and sister, Polly Hill.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roger D. Howlett; daughters, Pearle Belle Howlett Sigmon and husband Michael of Bethlehem, Ellen M. Howlett and partner, Ronnie Lovelace of Newton, and Angela Michaelle Howlett Kehrley and husband Chad of Auburndale,FL; grandchildren, Dana Kehrley, David Kehrley, Nora Kehrley and Mackenzie Ann Lovelace; brothers, Johnny Hill, Sr of Bethlehem and Larry Hill, Sr. of Bethlehem; and sister, Wanda Hill Taylor of Valdese.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Rev. Mark Lackey officiating. A graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Friends Meeting Cemetery in Surry County at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
