Nathaniel Harold Kolmes, born July 24, 1932 passed away on May 1, 2023. He was a natural leader and a great athlete. He was also a respected businessman and inventor with many patents and businesses. He loved sports, especially watching NFL football and NHL hockey. Thank you for all your wisdom and knowledge. To thyself be true.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Kolmes and sister, Evelyn Cohen.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Matthew Kolmes and wife, Jiyoung Cha-Kolmes and three grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
