CONOVER— Onada Harriet Taylor, 91 of Conover, passed away peacefully at Abernethy Laurels on May 22, 2017. Born Onada Harriet Betchy in Fayette County, PA on March 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Govedich Betchy. Her husband Edwin M. Taylor preceded her in death.
Known as “Nada” to her family, she is survived by her sons Ed Taylor and his partner Nancy of Conover, and Brian Taylor and his wife Sharon of Glenelg, MD; granddaughters Stacey Kern and husband Michael of Davidson, Kelley Cock and husband John of Davidson, and Michelle Francis and husband Michael of Mooresville and 7 great grandchildren. The family will have a private service Thursday, May 25, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Conover with Reverend Gary Royals officiating.
