Patricia "Pat" Houston Kahill

Patricia was born August 18, 1938 in Catawba County to the late Vernon and Thelma Austin Houston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon “Buddy” Houston Jr. and Douglas Houston.

She retired from Wesley Hall Furniture in payroll department; she was also a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, Wade Kahill of the home; her son Todd E. Kahill and wife Lisa of Newton; grandson Brandon Kahill of Newton; her sister Kay Houston Huffman of Conover; her brothers David Houston and wife Donna of Hickory and Terry Houston and wife Jane of Boone; her sister-in-law Jane P. Houston.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Correll and Pastor Homer Greene officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lynn, Mason, Marcus, Shawn, Chris Houston and Tim Hudson.
