Pauline Simmons Teague

HICKORY - Pauline Simmons Teague, 95, passed away April 30, 2015 at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family. Pauline was born May 3, 1919 in Catawba Co to the late Robert and Ollie Mae Sigmon Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mack Teague, Sr,; grandson, Brian Deal; brother, Clyde Simmons; sisters, Stella Marlowe, Edith Sigmon, Lucille Reed, Mary Barger, Ruby Morrison and Laura Huffman. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the Choir. Surviving is her beloved family, daughters, Maxine Flowers and husband, Harold of Hickory, JoAnne Petty and Husband, Jack of Hickory, Linda Huffman and husband, Tim of Hickory and Paula Shinn of Catawba; son Mack Teague, Jr. and wife, Scotty of Hickory; sister, Susie Hennessee of Bostic; granddaughters, Romona Long and husband, Mike, Kimberly Dellinger and husband, Tom, Katie Lutz and husband, Bruce, Tracy Hinkle, Christy Dollarhide and husband, Cole and Kendel Rose and husband, Dave; grandsons, Scott Flowers and wife, Jennifer, Mark Huffman and wife, Mirkala and Dustin Teague; great grandchildren, Karen Flowers, Reagan and Noah Dellinger, Adam Sigmon, Eric Lutz, Kaitlyn Townsend, Amberly Townsend, Mirkala Huffman, Carson, Casey Ann and Colin Dollarhide, Brock Rose and Makayla McCleary; great- great grandchildren, Addison Sigmon, Eric Lutz, Jr and Bailey Lutz, numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be Sunday, May 3 , (her 96th Birthday) at 3:00 P. M. at Augustana Lutheran Church with Rev. Gavin Mize officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends, Sunday, May 3, from 1:30 until 2:45 P.M. at Augustana Lutheran Church.
