Pierre Joseph Jacques

Pierre Joseph Jacques, 80, passed away November 20, 2012 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born August 19, 1932, in Vanburen, Maine, he was the son of the late Onesime Jacques and Phelime Madore Jacques. He retired after 20 years of service with the US Army. He was a member of the VFW and DAV and liked to remodel the house, shoot pool, and go fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepdaughter, Beverly Jean Koonse; brothers Donat Jacques and Reno Jacques; and sister, Corrine.

Pierre is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bobbie Mae Jacques; sons, Peter Jacques and wife Christine of Bethlehem, Joseph Lee Jacques and wife Stephanie of Bethlehem; daughters, Kathy Corrine Stanley of PA, Barbara Joanne Nagle and husband George of New Jersey, Bobbie Gloria Willis and husband Dean of Maiden; brother, Leo Jacques of NH; sister, Arlene Beauleiu of Maine; stepson, Robert Franklin; stepdaughter, Mary Delene Bozmoff and husband George, Jr; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at New Life Church in Conover with Rev. Steve Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
