RAENELLE JOLLY WATTS NEWTON – Raenelle Jolly Watts of Newton, NC expired Friday, February 3, 2017 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born February 2, 1945 to the late Dewey H. Jolly and Levada Mae Boston Jolly. Raenelle was a housekeeper at the Ramada Inn before retiring. She was a faithful member at Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ under Pastor and Mother Chambers in Erie, PA before moving back to North Carolina – most importantly Raenelle was a child of God. In addition to her parents, Raenelle was proceeded in death by her brothers; Thomas Ray Jolly, Leonard Jolly and sisters; Jessie Mae Adams, Leola Jolly, Mary Elizabeth Jolly Finger, Rachell Jolly and Alma Jean Jolly Merritt. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Fredrick Odell Watts of the home; children, Franklin (Carla) Jolly of Hickory, Shunda (Ron) Gladney of Thomasville, Julian (Jalyn) Jolly of Erie, PA, John (Rashika) Miller of Winston-Salem, Tiffany (Neal) Miller of Catawba, David (Marie) Miller of Vallejo, CA; step-children, Brenda Watts of Hickory, Reggie (Tanisha) Watts of Cleveland, OH, Shata Vinya Audrey of Hickory and Issac Linebarger of Charlotte; a very loving sister, Myrtle Ann (Jolly) Page of Erie, PA; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and her loving and devoted grandson, Radareus Jolly. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Shuford of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Catawba officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 – 2 PM. Condolences may be left at www.catawbamemorialpark.com.
