Randy Keith Dye

Hickory – Randy Keith Dye, 62 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on January 5th, 1963, in Roane County, West Virginia, Randy was the son of the late Robey Yale and Marion Deloris Smith Dye. Randy loved nature, animals and people. He never met a stranger, and everyone loved him. He will never be forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 4 brothers, Donald Ray Dye, Ronald Lewis Dye, Thomas “Tommy” Wayne Dye and John Glen Dye.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Patricia Clute, Joyce McCune and husband, Daniel, Robey “Danny” Dye and wife, Sheila, Wilma Jean McGlothlin; his nephew, Billy Ray Dye of Burke County, NC and 3 nieces, Misty Lloyd, of Spencer, West Virginia, Melissa Carpenter of Maiden and husband, James, and Mori NicSidhe and wife, Lou, of Warrensville, NC, as well as 2 great nephews, 2 great nieces and 3 great-great nephews, a great-great niece all of Maiden, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Catawba County in Randy’s name.
