Steve was a kind, sweet man. He was a great friend to my Dad and Mom, Jerry and Daisy Matthews. My heart goes out to Alan and Alisha, their children and the rest of Steve and Linda's family. Mine and Alan's sons played baseball together and that's where I met Linda, she was very sweet. Both she and Steve loved watching their Grandson play ball and even treated my son to slushies alot after the games. I will always remember Steve's generosity and kind smile. Sending condolences and prayers for all.🙏💔🖤

Alan, Winter, Jacob, and Jordan,
We are so sorry and heartbroken to hear of Steve and Linda's passing. They were wonderful people and we enjoyed sitting and talking with them many times during high school baseball games. We also talked about the Lord and their church and I know they are rejoicing in Heaven. Our prayers are with you all as you walk this journey. Chris, Rachel, Casey Knighton

Alisha, We are so very sad for you and your family for this tragic loss. No words can heal your heartbreak now, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will lift you up in your time of need. We are glad that we got to meet Steve and Linda at your house on a number of occasions. They were very nice people and we know you will miss them terribly. May your wonderful memories of them and their love sustain you. Dennis and Rachel

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Our friendship goes back to attending church together at Springs Road Baptist, and to our son Mark and Allen playing ball together. Steve always had a friendly hello and a caring nature.
They will be missed.

Just bumped fist with Steve and Linda at Mary Mae’s funeral. Steve always asked about my dad Dewitt Waters and would come by and visit. He and Linda now walk with Jesus. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. ✝️

My thoughts and prayers to the Yoder Family. I taught Steve at St. Stephens High School many years ago in mathematics. A fine young man then and a fine friend over the years. He will be missed.
