Born on June 11, 1948 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of Jackson Winfield Hutchinson and the late Levonda Clark Hutchinson. She was a longtime member of 1st Methodist Church in Hickory, NC.
In addition to her mother, she is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Mattie Bell Hutchinson and Oscar and Mabel Clark.
Mrs. Yount is survived by her father, Jackson Hutchinson; step mother, Shirley Hutchinson; sister, Vicki Anderson; nephew, Scott Mingus; and great niece, Sara Mingus.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1:00 to 1:45pm prior to the service from at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations Hickory, NC.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations with Pastor Will Posey officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
