Teresa Lynn Walters Ewart, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 8, 1951 in Letcher, KY, she was the daughter of Beulah Amburgey Walters. She was previously employed as a seamstress in the textile industry.
Teresa is survived by daughters, Angela Deal and Kimberly Ewart; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Walters Milliken and Debbie Stapleton; and brother, Jim Walters.
A Chapel Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. A receiving of friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
