Terry Douglas Smith

Terry was born February 20, 1957 in Lincoln Co. to Douglas and Lucille Woodruff Smith.

He was the owner and operator of Select Electrical Company.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Barger Smith of Hickory, sons; Ashley Smith and wife, Stacy of Vale and Shannon Smith and his fiancé Crystal Walker and her daughter Olivia of Vale, stepsons; Michael Patrick Fritz and fiancé Katie Boyd of Wilmington and Joseph Lon Fritz of the home, granddaughter; Andrea Marie Smith of Vale, grandson; Dylan Smith of Vale, parents; Douglas and Lucille Woodruff Smith of Lincolnton, sister; Deborah “Debbie” Ann Hoyle and husband, Terry Lee of Lincolnton, an uncle David Smith of Charlotte and a nephew, Wesley Hoyle of Lincolnton.

The family will receive friends Thursday Aug 25 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be on Friday August 26 at 2:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home with the Reverend Andy Stephens officiating.

Interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
