HICKORY -Terry Dwight Speagle, 60, passed away September 16, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.Terry was born December 26, 1954 in Catawba Co. to the late Hayes and Lorene Brittain Speagle. He was a member of Sandy Ridge Wesleyan and was employed by Lee Industries. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.Surviving are his wife, Debra Dagenhart Speagle; daughters, Stephanie Hefner and husband, Eric of Taylorsville and Kelly Wyant and husband, Doyle of Vale; grandchildren, Zachary Hefner, Easton Wyant and Addison Wyant; brothers; Dean Speagle and wife, Diane, Bill Speagle and wife, Muriel, Nelson Speagle and wife, Kelly and Kimmie Speagle and wife, Marie all of Vale; sisters, Debbie Wise and Libby Butts and husband, Randall both of Vale. The family will receive friends Friday, September 18, from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.Services will be Saturday, September 19, at 2:00 P. M. at Sandy Ridge Wesleyan Church with Rev. Scott Howard officiating.Burial will follow in Sardis Lutheran Church Cemetery. Condolences may be made on line at www.hickoryfh.com.
