Victor “Anthony” Arrigo, 33, of Bethlehem, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, 8/26/2018 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born June 7, 1985 in Catawba County, he was the son of Sandi Roten Garcia of Bethlehem, NC, and Victor Dale Arrigo of Newton, NC. A member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Anthony enjoyed fast cars and had worked in the furniture industry.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Frank Arrigo and his maternal grandparents, Phyllis Copley and Joseph Walter Roten.
Survivors include his mother, Sandi Roten Garcia and husband, Alex, of Bethlehem, NC; father, Victor Dale Arrigo and wife, Terrie, of Newton, NC; sister, Ashley Sharp and husband, Johnathon, of Stanley, NC; brother, Matthew Arrigo and fiancée, Amber Schronce, of Newton, NC; paternal grandmother, Betty Elrod Arrigo of Hickory, NC; aunts, Rene Roberts and husband, Rodney, of Hickory, NC; Mary Puperi and husband, Jim, of North Canton, OH; uncles, Danny Arrigo of Maiden, NC, Neil Stanley and wife, Melba, of Chesterfield, SC, and Daymond Stanley of Warrensville, NC; and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, NC, with Rev. Shannon Critcher officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Bethlehem, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Arrigo, Adam Hardin, Rodney Roberts, Danny Arrigo, Johnathon Sharp, Chris Osborne, and Sean Falcone.
