Violet Hedrick Ramsey

Violet was born May 12, 1920 in Catawba Co. to the late Phillip E. and Lennie V. Eckerd Hedrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Ramsey, a great grandson, two sisters, Pearl Price , Lois Sigmon and two brothers Clyde and Garll Ramsey.

Violet was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and retired from the textile industry .

Surviving are a son; Edward M. Ramsey and wife Verda of Conover, two granddaughters, Jennifer Cansler and husband Mike of Hickory, June Durham of Stony Point, one grandson, Brad Ramsey of Elm City, NC , seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and one sister, Faye McRee and husband John of AL..

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January26 , at 4 :00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery with Hugh Stetler officiating.
