William Lafford Waldron, Jr., 79, of Hickory passed away on October 17, 2023 at Carolina Caring Hospice House. Born April 11, 1944 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late William L Waldron, Sr. and Clara Ernestine Gray Waldron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Michael G Waldron.
William is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann Chaffee Waldron; son, Matthew J. Waldron; sisters, Carol E Rowe and Sandra G Waldron; and brother, Thomas Waldron and wife Denise.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
