Alma Irene Heinlein of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the House of the Good Shepherd at age of 95. Alma formerly resided in Wantagh, New York. Alma was born March 3, 1926 in Queens NY.
Alma was the beloved wife of 57 years to Herman A. Heinlein who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of James H., Robert A. and Laurel A. (nee Heinlein) Schnurr. She is survived by her grandchildren Melissa, Kristen, Amy, James, Robert, Kelly, Jennifer, Sarah and Christopher and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be received at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801 Monday November 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Frances DeChantal RC Church 139 Wantagh Ave. Wantagh NY 11793. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery 2015 Wellwood Ave. East Farmingdale NY 11735
