Carol A. Nealon

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Nealon and a devoted mother to Mary Ellen Nealon, Michael Nealon (Tim Flynn), Paul Nealon (Kathleen), Peter Nealon (Laura), Mark Nealon (Mei Lamson), and Christopher Nealon (Kathleen). She was a cherished grandmother to Thomas, Jack, Meghan, and Michael Nealon; Kristen and Kaitlyn Nealon; Matthew, Ryan, and Jessica Nealon; and Shannon, Timothy, Ryan, and Molly Nealon.

She was also the dear sister of the late Genevieve Anthony and Mary Lou Krnach.

Throughout her life, Carol was deeply involved in her community and faith. She served as the Director of Religious Education and led the Folk Group at Holy Family Parish in Hicksville, NY, where she touched the lives of many. Before her married life, Carol worked as a 1st grade teacher in Ohio, igniting the curiosity and imagination of her young students. She also dedicated many years of service as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America, fostering growth and camaraderie in the next generation.

Carol will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family, friends, and community.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY. A Funeral Service will take place the following morning at 9:30 am at Vernon Wagner Funeral Home. Private final disposition will follow.
