I think about you every day, Heather. I hope you are resting peacefully with your mom. I went to see you yesterday and I was so shocked to see your mom had passed. I can only hope that you both at peace and are together, with Samantha. 💕

I never had the chance to meet Heather, but I worked with her father 20+ years ago.  Almost weekly he would come to that front window at work and see me listening to music, strumming my pencils at my desk.  He would smile the biggest smile and talk about how I should play in a band with his daughter.  He talked about her ALL the time (we were the same age.  And this many years later, while mindlessly roaming through cyberspace I happened to look up some of the old salesmen that I worked with as a teenager, hoping everyone was doing well, only to find this.  I am so astoundingly sorry and am so saddened as even this many years later, there was nothing more impressed upon me by this nice man with his messenger bag and newspaper under arm… than how much he loved his daughter.

Heather, I think about you often.  You grew up like a baby sister to me.  I will remember you always--swimming in your pool, skating at Cantiague, playing flute in our cabana, and all the wonderful memories we had growing up.  I will treasure the memories forever.  RIP Heather!

Happy 30th Birthday, Heather. We all miss you so much. I keep looking at the pictures from when I came for your birthday and we all played guitar in the park. I love you, Starla.

  It is truly amazing to hear the stories from all of you written here, on the phone, and in person of how my little sister touched all of you.
  As the days pass I too find myself missing her more and more.  I really can not believe that a month has passed without the sound of your voice hammer.

Dear Heather, 

I'm going to miss you with every last cell in my body.  I only got the news 2 days ago...I was calling you to make plans and Mary told me.  I am so grateful to have had the chance to hear your voice not only a month ago...and you sounded happy.  I will carry every minute we spent together in my heart as long as I live.  You were so incredibly beautiful, and talented! I was always jealous of how good a guitarist/songwriter you were...half the music I listen to is because of you.  Thats going to be difficult to do now.  Ill never forget sitting in your car, every day listening to music and laughing about every little thing...it was just so much fun knowing you.  I wish you would've stayed here with us but I know you're in a better place.  Until we meet again...shine on you crazy diamond! XO

Heather was a beautiful, sweet, talented individual. She had so much love in her. I can't say I can recall her saying a bad thing about anyone, really. I wish that her spirit finds peace.
To her family, I am so sorry for this tremendous and unexpected loss. I can't imagine your pain.

I could not believe it when Irene told me about Heather.  I also remember a beautiful curly haired, sweet little girl.  May God comfort all of you in your grief and grant you memories of only the happy times.....

It's hard to believe it was only two days ago that we were talking about Avatar and I saw you smiling.  I'm sorry we never got to go on that ride.  Rest in Peace Heather.  You'll always be remembered.
