December 8, 1965 – October 27, 2024
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Kozlow, who left us on the evening of October 27, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on December 8, 1965, Judy filled her life—and the lives of those around her—with warmth, kindness, and joy.
Judy is lovingly remembered by her father, Michael Scotto; her devoted husband, Michael Kozlow; her beloved children, Michael Jr. and Christina; her dear sister Annmarie (Chris); and many cherished friends and loved ones who Judy considered her family.
Judy had a deep love for cooking, a talent for finding the best deal, and also enjoyed gardening and keeping up with the latest in pop culture. One of her favorite places was out in Montauk, cozied up at the helm of the Kozmic Dream, where she spent many happy days on the boat surrounded by her South Dock family, enjoying the sunshine and laughter that accompanied their time together. You could count on her to be there with a smile, ready to offer you a cold beer and a bite to eat.
Judy’s greatest joy was her family. Her family was at the center of her heart, and she filled their lives with love, laughter, and warmth. Judy loved bringing people together—whether it was family dinners, celebrations, or impromptu gatherings, she created a welcoming space where everyone felt like they belonged. Her home was filled with warmth, her gatherings with laughter, and her presence with love. Judy’s legacy of kindness, family, and friendship will continue to live on in all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to honor Judy’s memory at a visitation on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and service on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy in Hicksville.
