Age 90, of Hicksville, New York, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, with whom she shared a life full of love and laughter.
Lynn was a devoted mother to her children: James (Laurie), Laurette Wafer (Daniel), Victoria Robertazzi (John), and Diane Lane (Larry). She was an adored Grandmother of Joseph, Angela, Dominick, James, Jessica, Danny, and Dale. Her heart grew even fuller when she became "Gigi" to 9 great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply.
Lynn’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she was known for her warmth, kindness, and the beautiful meals she lovingly prepared. Her baking, in particular, was legendary. Whether in her kitchen or at family gatherings, she created a sense of comfort and joy that will always be remembered.
She found peace and happiness in her second home in Florida, where she spent many moments soaking in the sunshine and savoring the simple pleasures of life.
A visitation for Lynn will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, 129 S Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801. Following the service, Lynn will be laid to rest at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that she now watches over them, and they will forever carry her love in their hearts. As one of her children beautifully put it, “You were an angel in the shape of my mom.”
