Pasqualina Parasconda

Born on April 2, 1967, Lina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and strength left a lasting mark on all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of the late Steven Parasconda, with whom she shared 11 loving years of marriage until his passing at the age of 42 in 2004. Though she endured profound loss, Lina carried on with resilience and grace, dedicating her life to her family.

She was the proud and loving mother of Marisa Parasconda, Deanna Parasconda, and Stephanie Parasconda, who were the center of her world and her greatest accomplishments. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her cherished granddaughter, Isabella, with whom she treasured every moment. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with Isabella, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

Lina was a devoted sister to Giacomo Renna (Caroline), Leopoldo G. Renna, and Geraldo Renna (Deborah). She shared a special bond with her brothers, one filled with love, spirited debates, and playful arguments that became a cherished part of family gatherings. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who will forever remember her generous heart and vibrant personality.

Lina found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved shopping for the perfect find, cooking delicious meals for her family, relaxing at the beach, and above all, bringing her family together.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY, on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am at Holy Family RC Church, Hicksville NY. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.

Lina’s love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Steven.
