

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Heart of Her Family
Phyllis Marie Kober passed away peacefully on February 3rd 2026 at the age of 75. She will be remembered for her deep devotion to her family, her generous spirit, her quiet strength, and the care she showed to everyone who knew her.
Phyllis shared a loving and devoted marriage with her husband, Tom, who was the love of her life. Together, they built a family grounded in love, tradition, and togetherness.
She was a devoted mother to Dan and Cheryl, and a cherished grandmother who found endless joy in her grandchildren, Carolyn, Ashley, Abigayle, and Sean.
Phyllis was a loving mother whose life centered on her children and family. Her children grew up in a home full of warmth and laughter.
She gave freely of herself, offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her presence was a source of comfort, and her memory will remain a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
She loved traveling—especially with Marybeth, Nancy and Pat—and embracing new places and experiences. Yet her greatest happiness was always found at home, hosting family gatherings, opening her home, and bringing everyone together. Her home was a place of laughter, warmth, and connection, and those moments will be treasured forever.
She found joy in the simple moments—time spent with family, familiar routines, and the bonds she nurtured over a lifetime. Phyllis’s legacy lives on in the lives she shaped and the love she shared.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Visitation will be held on February 9, 2026, at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. The visitation times are from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
