

Rudolph G. Eberhardt, age 98, of Levittown, New York, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 16, 1925, to proud parents Christian and Amalia Eberhardt.
Rudolph was the beloved husband of Dorothy L. Eberhardt for over 68 loving years. Together, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering love. He was the devoted father of Bill Eberhardt (Katy) and Ellen Eberhardt. Rudolph was the cherished grandfather of Kit (Meghann), Peter (Virginia), Bridgette, and Britney, and the adored great-grandfather of Avery, William, and Clarence.
A proud veteran, Rudolph served his country with honor in the United States Army Air Force from 1943 to 1945. Following his military service, Rudolph dedicated himself to a career as a telephone company foreman for the former NYBell Telephone. He approached his work with dedication and integrity, leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.Rudolph was known for his humility, always downplaying his own achievements and placing others before himself.
In his leisure time, Rudolph found joy in tending to his garden, where he cultivated beauty and tranquility. He was a philanthropist at heart, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Rudolph had a passion for travel, particularly to National Parks, where he found solace in the wonders of nature. A skilled pilot, he delighted in taking to the skies and experiencing the freedom of flight.
Above all, Rudolph cherished moments spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought him immeasurable joy.
