

Sudesh R. DeSilva, 43, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 2, 1983, in Sri Lanka, Sudesh came to the United States in 2003 in pursuit of opportunity, adventure, and a bright future for those he loved most.
Sudesh was the beloved husband of 18 years to Dianny DeSilva, whose life was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering partnership by his side. He was a devoted and proud father to Nicole, Ethan, and Tishana, who were the center of his world and his greatest joy. He is also lovingly survived by his parents, Shiran and Rohini DeSilva, and his sister, Sherine DeSilva.
Sudesh had a deep passion for travel and adventure. He loved exploring tropical destinations such as Belize and Cancun and was fortunate to visit many beautiful places around the world, including Italy, the Far East, Paris, and Peru, among many others. He also found great peace and happiness in fishing, a pastime that brought him relaxation and cherished memories with family and friends.
Above all else, Sudesh treasured his family. His warm heart, generous spirit, and love for those closest to him will be remembered always. He leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, strength, kindness, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Friends and family may visit at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A religious service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Private cremation will follow.
