Yiyue "Dianna" Hu

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Yiyue (Dianna) Hu. On December 16, 2025, while relaxing with friends and family on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, she experienced the sudden rupture of an aneurysm, resulting in multiple intracranial hemorrhages that led to irreversible fatal brain damage despite the best efforts of a herculean team of medical staff in two countries. Dianna left this world at 4:17 PM Eastern Standard Time on December 19, 2025, aged 60, at the Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dianna was intelligent, beautiful, kind, and virtuous. She was hardworking and treated others with sincerity and generosity. She was a devoted wife and mother who kept her family running smoothly in the face of numerous challenges. Her passing has brought immense grief to all who loved her.

Though Dianna is gone, her memory lives on. May she rest in peace, and may she transform into moonlight, starlight, flowers, and birds, forever accompanying all of us.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Kai Li, and their son, Harrison Li.

A visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801, on January 10, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at the same venue on January 10, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
