

A resident of this area all of his life, Chase was born on March 16, 1994 in Guilford County, a son to Charles Sellars and Tammy Willard Ferguson. He attended East Davidson High School and worked for Garwood Custom Cycles in Lexington.
Chase will be remembered for his contagious smile and being able to light up any room, bringing laughter wherever he went. He had a love for music, guns, Monster Energy, and his motorcycle. Chase never met a stranger and was a big teddy bear to many. Most of all, he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Sellars and his step-father, Eddie Ferguson.
Surviving are his parents, Charles Sellars and wife Elaine and Tammy Willard Ferguson; his daughter, Aalea Sellars; significant other, Ariel Owenby; sisters, Tamara Sellars, Kelsey Shaw, and Cynthia Walton; brother, James Grant and wife Ashley; grandparents, Diane and Jay Willard; aunts and uncles, Jackie and John Grice, Wayne and Peggy Sellars, Jr., and Ruth and Larry Kelley; nieces and nephews, Jaxon Jones, Zain Shaw, Wesley Grant, Madison Grant, and Paisley Grant; close cousin, Jayden Grice and numerous additional cousins.
A celebration of Chase’s life will be held at 6 pm Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Sechrest Funeral Service, 1301 E. Lexington Ave. High Point. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 9 pm.
